Learning Objectives

By the end of this training, you will be able to:

• Understand what 60 Decibels is, our methodology (Lean Data) and approach to impact measurement, how we work, and our project cycle.
• Describe your future role as a 60 Decibels Research Assistant and how it fits into our work with clients around the world.
  
• Know our processes and systems to become a 60 Decibels Research Assistant and to participate in projects with us.
  
• Understand our main Research Assistants' tools* and their importance to your day to day work and to gather high quality insights for clients.
• Understand what we expect from you and be equipped with fundamental skills and best practices to collect accurate, complete and logical data.
• Understand the 60 Decibels policies intended to ensure a good overall experience for our Research Assistants.

How to Get Started:

• This training will take approximately ~2 hours to complete. It does not need to be completed in one sitting, but we strongly recommend you do in order to be quickly onboarded into our researchers' network.
• To get started, go through the videos and complete the quizzes at the end of each section.
• Each video has subtitles available in English, Spanish, French and Hindi. Just click on Subtitles in the bottom left part of the video window, make sure "Turn on subtitle?" is selected, then click on "Language" and select the language of your preference.
• We recommend you take this training in a quiet location with no distractions, and have a notepad (physical or virtual) ready to take notes as you go through the videos.

Requirements for Receiving your Certification:

• To receive your certification you must complete and pass all quizzes in the modules
• You will also need to complete the post-course survey

*Since the creation of this Core Training Certification Course, we've started the process of moving off of Qualtrics as our data-entry tool, and instead, plan on using an in-house platform for all data entry & storage. You'll still hear reference to Qualtrics in these subsequent videos, but please note that we don't anticipate significant changes in your user experience when using our in-house tool. We're in the process of revising this course to align with the in-house platform process & appreciate your understanding.
